Parent Training Workshops provide you with an easy hands-on step-by-step process to help you identify your child’s creativity and interests, fuel your child’s passions and ignite those passions into personal brilliance. This sequential series of training units provide you with the hands-on process we have successfully been using with parents and their families for decades.

Parent workshops are broken into two separate series of training sessions which are designed to be taken sequentially:

1st Series: Unit I Interest

2nd Series: Unit II Passion and Unit III Brilliance.

Materials:  Each participant will receive a copy of the Parent’s Essential Guide to be used throughout both Parent Training series, along with the three Companion Guided Journals – Units I, II and III.

Process: We use the acronym EMAP to represent our step-by-step process: Expose, Monitor, Assess and Provide the Next Step.  Each unit will take you through all four of the EMAP steps.  Each step will culminate in your own individual ACTION PLAN to help you move forward with your child.

Following each step will guide you toward a deeper understanding of your child and will give you practical tips and activities to help assist them in finding their individual and innate creativity, interests, and passions.

SESSION I SERIES:  

UNIT I INTEREST SYLLABUS:

Unit I Interest will help you discover, nurture and expand your child’s innate creativity and interests, the first step toward igniting passion.

We begin by helping you identify your child’s specific forms of creative intelligences and the unique ways in which your child learns. We will show you how to refine and use this information in a way you probably have not considered before. You will learn to identify which activities are false, passive, or misdirected, and how to redirect them to find their true active or internally-driven interests. You can then take this information and fine-tune your child’s current activities, or introduce them to new activities better suited to their innate abilities and interests.

Your goal is to prioritize and broaden your child’s full range of active interests, providing increased opportunities within which passion can grow.

We will show you how to identify specific themes within your child’s range of active interests and prioritize which activities within those themes are most likely to help your child’s passions flourish. Along the way, you will learn how to better observe your child’s behaviors and natural pacing to facilitate passionate absorption and help them discover the path to personal brilliance. We will also help you manage the time, energy and resources necessary to prioritize passion and accomplish your objectives.

Your goal is to deepen your child’s connections to their own creativity and passion.

UNIT III BRILLIANCE SYLLABUS:

Unit III Brilliance will help you bring your child’s unique and individual gifts, passions and brilliance forward and introduce them into the world.

We will help you identify ways to bring your child’s creative skills into tangible form at a professional level and explore what it takes to create a product, business or service organization.  You will learn how to monitor your child’s progress and read the signs that tell if your child is internally and passionately motivated, ready and mature enough to step out into the community.  We will help you brainstorm ways to introduce your child to hobby and networking organizations, mentors and internships. All these activities will culminate in a professional resume and portfolio.

Your goal is to bring your child’s gifts into the world, then explore with your child what life-long success can mean in terms of following their own interests, creating through their passions and executing their innate brilliance.
